Antenatal/Postnatal Services

The surgery provides a comprehensive antenatal/postnatal service, combining the skills of your GP, the Midwives and the health visitors. During your pregnancy you will be assured of an integrated care package provided partly by your GP, and partly by the community midwife assigned to your pregnancy. Once your baby has been born you will be introduced to one of the health visitors, who you may contact through the surgery to discuss any concerns you may have regarding the development of your child. The health visitors are always available in the surgery during the baby clinic on Thursday afternoons. Alternatively, if you feel that your baby needs to be seen by a doctor, you may arrange an appointment with your GP. If you are not happy with any aspect of the service please let us know so that we can give it our attention.
