The practice offers the following services and clinics: family planning, maternity services, child health clinics, immunisation travel advice, flu vaccination, childhood immunisation, yellow fever immunisation, asthma clinic, diabetic clinic, hypertension clinic, health promotion clinics, minor surgery, treatment of minor injuries, anti-coagulation monitoring and near patient testing.
Patients with a particular chronic disease are identified from the computer records and are invited in writing to take part in periodic nurse conducted monitoring checks. The aim of this monitoring is to ascertain the most appropriate way of managing the patient's condition, to measure the effectiveness of the treatment he/she is receiving, and to encourage two-way dialect about any issues. By taking out much of the routine monitoring of illness from face to face consultation with your Doctor, we hope that we can offer a more patient friendly service.
